can’t tell you what a relief it is to have the metal on the first side! Jerry Imdieke and his son Jacob came by on Monday to put it on. That morning we scrabbled to finish replacing the eave trim, rip some 2×6’s, and repaint the cupola, before they put on the metal. Incredibly, what took us a week and a half to tear off and get ready, took them only 7 hours to put on. Now I only have a narrow gap along the ridge line to worry about the rain coming in, and my nights have been less sleepless. Jerry and his son where a joy to work with, as they are salt-of-the-earth people. Thank you Jerry and Jacob!
