n Monday night the Paramount Gallery, in their historic theater’s lobby, opened a show entitled “I am an Artist”, featuring works by local teaching artists and their students.  I  invited three amazing young people whom I am priviledged to get to spend time with through one-on-one art lessons, to show a piece with me.  Behind us in this photo, you can see Owen’s house-shaped box, Dana’s leaf collage, Jackson’s drawing, and my vase.  Below is another shot of Dana’s amazing collage that she spent the better part of a summer on, and Jackson’s sensitive drawing of Chichen Itza:
