Bouja Beads

totem

A month or so ago, I stained and fired the beads we made at the last Bouja.  They turned out very nice, and yesterday as I was carrying around a metal rod for a different project, I was compelled to stick it in the ground near the barn and fill it with bouja beads temporarily.  Best totem pole ever.  Thank you again to those who participated in our art project for the barn at the Bouja.  I hope to photograph them and create an online collection of all of the wonderful specimens people created, so that people can check out what others made, as well as installing them as the spindles on the staircase we’ll build this summer:)
