eave it to Dom to figure
out a better way to remove old paint from window frames. With a little heat from a cheap little heat gun: the paint bubbles and lifts from the wood and scrapes off like butter!
<—-This paint scraper I bought is working really well for this process. I have been clamping down the window frame to a table so that I can use the heat gun in one hand and the scraper in the other.
It works best if you follow right behind the heat-gun with the scraper after the paint has lifted. Paint bubbling and lifting——————–>
Viola!! A much more satisfying process. However, I have not looked into the hazards of fumes from the melted paint and have been doing this outside in the breeze.
