uess what? Yesterday while I fired the kiln, my seventh grade art teacher, Dennis Wilson, stopped by the farm to donate a few beautiful old doors for the barn. One of my first clay projects in school was a mug in seventh grade that I could recreate exactly from memory. Mr Wilson, like many of the talented art teachers I had going through school, had a hilarious sense of humor. You can imagine how it feels to have him donate these doors and put them into the barn.
The Intention of this Blog
is to share my adventure of repurposing my family farm into art space and re-rooting myself in an 'old fashioned' way of life with my folks, the original Do-It-Yourselfers. It is a platform for me to share with others the things that I learn as I apprentice myself to my parents and grandparents.
